How to wear a fur vest

Unless you are an über celebrity you must be very careful when attempting to wear a fur vest. Yes, they are the latest fashion trend and it seems that almost everyone is wearing them but they could go wrong with only the simplest of mistakes.
Don't wear a HUGE fur vest, no one wants to see what looks like a giant grizzly bear walking down the street and I bet your bottom dollar that you won't be comfortable in any situation when you are drowning in fake fur. Leave the over-the-top looks for the runway please.
It looks nice when you have long sleeves on, not only should you wear long sleeves under the vest because it looks more put-together but also because the functional idea of the fur vest is to keep yourself warm and it would be silly to warm up with a furry vest and then expose your arms to the bare cold.
Other ideas include belting the vest and also wearing it will skinny jeans- both seem to work well. Stick with classic colors when picking a fur vest, tan, brown, black and gray seem to work well. Purple, blue, red, etc. might make a passerby ill. Overall, the fur vest (make sure its faux!) is a great way to update a plain, boring, typical outfit and definitely a fashion dare to indulge on!

How to wear cowboy boots without looking like a cowgirl..

These are great examples of how to wear cowboy boots without looking like a cowgirl. A short - flowy dress preferably cut above the knee is a nice match to cowboy boots. In the colder months you can wear cowboy boots over your skinny jeans or you can add leggings/stockings under your dress. They are good year-round! You don't want the dress to be in a western-y print, like paisley or fringe, or even check print.
Wearing cowboy boots with evening dresses, work attire, a super-short-super-tight mini skirt, all are big no-no's! You don't want to look like a 'street walker'!! I like to keep it cute with a casual monotone dress and maybe a cute waist belt! Oh and you can wear them with jean shorts if and only if you wear a conservative top that doesn't show to much skin -and the shorts being too hoochy might throw off the whole look, remember less SKIN is more!

Prehistoric

This is pretty cool in my opinion. I think any plain tshirt with this is an attention getter. You might have to be a bit daring but I bet going out with this piece on would get some Oohs and Aahs! Its a bit pricey but if you LOVE it, you love it.

Cup O' Joe

I think these are great. I love coffee. But I mainly think they are great because you can see them obviously as coffee beans but that aside, they can look kind of cool on their own. Very abstract but none the less, simple and pretty.

What a Hoot

I just love it. I cant even talk about why or where its from. I dont know where its from, which is frustrating, then again, you can always type into google: owl necklace. Itll come up with many choices, beauty of the internet, you can find almost anything. Anyway, I just love owls and elephants as far as jewlery goes, I couldnt tell you why, something just attracts me about them.

Loopty Loop

Love this!! Its a necklace from Anthropologie that is in the style of a somewhat nautical theme. I love the detail of the pin on the side of the tangled rope. Definitely an eye-catcher! You won't need much of an outfit if you're wearing this piece. It also has a matching bracelet and actually a belt, although I would not recommend wearing them together!

Doodle Your Own Necklace

This item I found at mommytags.com its called a Doodle Tag and you can either use a child's artwork or your own! I think its a great idea and especially a nice way to keep your child's early artwork for a much longer time. Its $95.00 to create your own by scanning the artwork and sending it in to be made. Definitely a no-fail gift for any mom or grandma.
